Plagiarism Policy
All submissions to Borneo Akademika (BA) will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin software.The cutoff score for plagiarism is set at 25%. When plagiarism is detected, the manuscripts will be rejected without peer review. Authors should note that their submissions may undergo plagiarism checks at any stage during the peer review or production process. The editor will conduct a thorough investigation of any detected plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, and will promptly reach out to all authors listed if any overlapping material is found. If the explanation given is considered insufficient, the submission will be rejected, and the authors may be banned from submitting to BA for a period of three (3) years.
