INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Length

Please ensure your submission is within the appropriate length, between 4000 and 8000 words, including references, notes, and tables.

Editing and Proofreading

To facilitate a more efficient review process and enhance the likelihood of a successful submission, it is highly recommended that authors submit manuscripts that have been meticulously edited with attention to both structure and style. Furthermore, authors are strongly urged to carefully and thoroughly proofread their manuscripts to eliminate any typographical and grammatical errors.

Language

Papers may be written in either English or Bahasa Melayu (Malay).

General Instructions

Files should be in MS Word format only and should be formatted for direct printing, with left justification for subheadings. Please limit your submission to a maximum of 15 typed pages.The recommended font size for manuscripts is 11-point Arial, including quotations and a 10-point Arial font for references. Follow this order when typing manuscripts: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Main text (including figures and tables), Conclusions, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interests, Author Contributions, Data Availability Statement,References,About the Authors, Appendix(if any).All text, including quotations, should be single-spaced. Please use a version of Microsoft Word format and paginate your manuscript. All figures should be numbered with Arabic numerals (1,2,...n). All photographs, schemas, graphs and diagrams are to be referred to as figures. Line drawings should be good-quality scans or accurate electronic output. Low-quality scans are not acceptable. Figures must be both embedded into the text, and all images should meet the minimum requirement of 500 x 500 pixels. Lettering and symbols should be clearly defined either in the caption or in a legend provided as part of the figure.All scientific and technical data presented should be stated in SI units.

Title

The title of each article is clearly stated in English.If the manuscript is written in Bahasa Melayu, provide the title in English and place it below the Malay title and italicize.

Authors and their full affiliation:Clearly list the authors' names along with their full affiliations, including the university and specific department or school.

Corresponding author:Each article explicitly designates a corresponding author, typically marked with an asterisk, and provides the email address.

Abstract

The abstract should summarise the context, content, and conclusions of the paper,notexceeding300 words. It should not contain any reference citations or displayed equations. Typeset the abstract in 11 pt Arial. Papers may be written in either English or Bahasa Melayu (Malay). If the manuscript is written in Bahasa Melayu, provide the abstract in English and place it below the Malay version.

Keywords

A list of keywords provided by the author should be placed below the abstract. The selected keywords should be comprehensive and subject-specific. A maximum of five keywords should suffice to cover the main topics of a given paper. General terms should not be used as keywords since they are of little value as information retrieval tools. Please select keywords that are as specific as possible, listing the most specific first and proceeding to the most general last.If the manuscript is written in Bahasa Melayu, provide the Keywords in English and place them below the Englishabstract.

Acknowledgement

Put applicable sponsors’ acknowledgements with specific grant numbers and titles. The acknowledgement could also go to those who provided intellectual assistance, technical help (including writing, data analysis, proofreading, etc.), or specific equipment or materials.

Conflict of Interests

Additional information regarding the manuscript includes a declaration of conflicting interests. The statement must be unambiguous and describe any potential competing interests (or lack thereof) for each contributing author.

Author Contributions

The contribution statement should specify the author’s contributions to give each author appropriate credit. Names in this section must be given as initials.

Data Availability Statement

This statement provides readers and reviewers with clear information on where the data supporting your findings can be accessed, thereby facilitating the verification and replication of your work.

References

Typeset reference list in 10pt Arial with single spacing. Where a DOI is available, it must be included at the end of the reference.The number of references should exceed 20, with at least 40% from the last 5 years. References should be listed in alphabetical order.The references are consistently presented using the Roman alphabet at the end of each article.Please refer to the following website for further details on APA 7th edition referencing style: https://libraryguides.vu.edu.au/apa-referencing
